Prophet Mohammed sallallahu alehi wasllam thus spoke of attributes of Surah Yasin
1 All sins will be forgiven if a person recites Surah yasin
2 Surah yasin should be recited loudly near person about to die In view of sanctity of Surah yasin Allah will lessen agony of departing soul Abu Dawud Nasai
3 Surah yasin is aptly known as soul of Holy Quran Person reciting Surah yasin will be rewarded the benefit of reading Qur'an Karim ten times Tirmidhi
4 Even reciting Surah yasin once in life time by a person rewards forgiveness of sins Darmi Tabrani)
5 If a person regularly recites Surah yasin at night he she will leave world as honourable martyr
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ that the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم has stated, Whoever recites Surah Yasin on the night before Friday i e Thursday night forgiveness will be granted for him
Surah Fatiha protects one from anger
Surah Yaseen protects one from
the thirst on the day of judgement
Surah Waqiah protects one from poverty and starvation
Surah Mulk protects from punishment of grave
Surah Kausar protects one from the enmity of the enemy
