Attended Geet Varsha concert very long ago in Mumbai.. Was mesmerizing. Started raining heavily after the concert. Not sure but I think "पूरवज जिन्हे बंधाये चौरस चौथेरो" was also a part of it. If any of the collectors have it, please post a link here. Thank you

+AmitBe Yeah I doubt this is full, maybe it is all that was restored. I attended one Geet Varsha concert in Mumbai, couple of years back, there they said that during Kumarji's days, it used to about 3 hours long.

+AmitBe I think Kumarji did not have a fixed format for all his Geet Varsha concerts. (He also had a concert called Ghan garajat aaye). These thematic concerts also had accompanying booklets published which contained all the compositions with lyrics and meanings. In a copy of the Geet Varsha booklet that I have (dated 31 July 1966), "Tame to gawera ka poot" appears as the 23rd composition out of total 25. In another booklet (dated 20 Aug 1978) it appears as the 24th out of 25.

+Suraj Wan One of the booklet I have of Geet Varsha is a concert for Vishnu Digambar Jayanti Samaroh, at the Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi. It was on 20 Aug 1978, which matches the description of this video. However, the sequence given in that booklet doesn't match that in this upload. But yes, I agree that this is splitting hair. I am glad that these recordings at least exist today. Thanks!
