I have the EDC2-DFT and it is a phenomenal light. Great beam pattern and color tint is one of the best in my collection, expensive but the quality is there.

100% agree, same for me! My favorite light.

Cool lights! Reminds me of my Lumintop GT Micro in a quality American made light tuned down a bit. Similar performance and reflector, same emitter

I'd love to see the comparison with the Weltool LH1. If I had to bet, I'd say they share the same emitter (CSLNM1).

Might be interesting to see comparison for edc2-dft with nitecore mt2c pro just released. Lower candela but bigger hotspot, much smaller and longer battery life

I was hoping these would be low mode first, or better yet use the gas pedal switch. Not good enough to be an upgrade to the EDCL1-T.

Love to see a review on the new HRT HHAWLS edc light. Has pretty good specs.

How usable the low mode for general, around the house illumination?

Still a very tight hotspot with dim spill. Similar to their old EB1 and EB2 models. The EDCL-1T and EDCL-2T lights are much floodier

I prefer the EDC1-DFT because its size-to-performance ratio is truly excellent. If I need a 2 CR123 size, I'll consider the Cloud Defensive Duty HO-DF or HC for high candela. Honestly, I have a soft spot for the Duty HO-DF. Its steel bezel, balanced throw and flood, and ~5000K colour temperature make it hard for me to resist.

Best part you can swap the heads and get more performance from using the edc 1 head with the edc2 body.

What emitters they use? Cslnm or Culpm?
@jonathancaldentey46157 ай бұрын
Given the lumens probably the nm1.

How does a torch with only 700 lumen have 100,000 candela? What sorcery is this?
@coffeeandlifting6 ай бұрын
Its a really deep reflector paired with a really small emitter... Likely an Osram CSLNM1.

The reason why I bought Nitecore MT1C and MT2C Pro, can't afford this beautiful Surefire haha
