surefire 951 and 952 were on mod 0 mk18s. 2010 when the mod 1 came out we already had the ir surefire and the l3 lights as well.nice blaster though.

Thanks for the info Man. I'll be honest, when it comes to Clones it's hard for me to keep track of all the specs and parts. A guy could go crazy trying to get someonthing 100% or even close to it in some cases.

Good points. I will say under night vision the 556 rc2 has almost zero flash. It’s actually kind of impressive and I think it’s why that is such a popular can.

I have a question that I haven't seen discussed before. Does using a muzzle brake vs a flash hider, in conjuction with a suppressor, increase flash signature to any measurable or noticeable degree? I'm currently using a Surefire muzzle brake with a Surefire Socom556 RC2. I went with a brake to act as a sacrificial baffle. Saying this, flash signature reduction is my highest priority so I'm willing to switch it out for a flash hider if there's a noticeable difference.

​@@YippeeKiYayMrFalcon I run brakes as well, for the same reason. I honestly don't know if there is a measurable difference between the brake and a FH when it come to total signature reduction. Wonder if Pew Science has any info on that?

I'm pretty happy with my 762 Cans. The are pretty versatile. I think the 300sps is optimized for 300BO, but I would be surprised if you could tell a noticeable difference at the ear.

I have a couple "shorts" of my 762RC2 on my 16in 5.56 rifle and also my 14.5in 6.5CM. That might give you a decent idea on sound suppression.

On a 14.5 556. Was looking to get my first suppressor and was thinking of getting the SF 762 mini. Thoughts?

I've ran that 762 Mini on 11.5 to 16in rifles for almost 10 years. It's a tank. It does pretty well on 556 rifles. Nothing scientific but I don't notice much of a difference between that and my 556RC2 sound wise.

How are you running the 7.62 cans on 5.56 rifles?

They all take the same muzzle adapters, obviously there are different thread pitches and internal diameters but the 762 cans are fantastic on 556 rifles.
