Thank you so much for this video! I have narrow shoulders and used my intuition to finagle and finesse my armscye and wasn't sure if I was doing it the hard way or botching it up, and to my surprise and relief, I did it the right way! I still learned two new things from this video: 1) Make the right angles before trying to sketch the curve , and 2) flip the designer stylus for a better curve (I forgot I could do that and was just inching along with a too tight curve---what a hassle that made to come back and draw in the seam allowance!) I always learn something from your videos. Thank you!!!

A huge thank you for this fantastic informative video …I desperately need it …almost my exact measurement situation…every top that I’ve drafted and sewn has a wonky sleeve head and I simply did not understand how to correct it …I absolutely adore my sure fit design system…as someone else has stated it’s my self care it makes me happy …thank you again!

You had my attention, at “Narrow Shoulders”! These were very helpful tips, as I struggle with every garment I make due to my full bust & narrow shoulders. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the suggestions for this body type!

Glenda, I am just finishing a college level pattern drafting course, and I want to thank you for the so-very-professional guidance and the Sure Fit Designs system. It's clear that you have the professional experience and expertise. You stand along among other pattern design systems in this respect. I would like to see more designs for knit fabrics, or if you have a list of your existing designs that work well with knits, please share that. Again, thank you!

Roberta L Jones - thanks so much for your lovely comments and feedback...we do try to offer the highest quality of professionalism in all of our products. As for sewing with knit fabrics, we actually have quite a few Design and Sew Alongs in www.SureFitAcademy.com that use knits exclusively. And Elsabe (our S Africa distributor), just put up a maxi Dress Sew Along www.surefitacademysa.com/.

Thank you for your demonstration it addressed the fitting problem with me. I have the greatest problem with what to do with the sleeve once you have made the adjustments. All the blouses I have made are sleeveless because I can't get the sleeve right.

It seems that all patterns are set up that the bigger the cup size, the larger/wider the shoulders. My shoulders are normal, but most patterns are too wide for my d cup. Thanks for showing this.

vintage g - thanks so much for your feedback. Many patterns do this - just because you have a full bust, doesn't mean you have wide shoulders

Why didn’t you use the other stylus for the larger bust. I thought it was recommended to use if over 43 inches 😊
@surefitdesigns2 жыл бұрын
@Carol Clifton - the other Armscye template is encouraged for use between about 42" and 46", but the Stylus can be used in alternative positions to achieve similar results.

@Carol clifton - I've been attempting to reply to your comment regarding the large upper arm - proof that Sure-Fit Designs will work for larger ladies...For some reason or other, your comment is not showing up in KZbin for that particular video, so I'm replying here. I don't have a model that suits those perameters that is why there aren't any photos. Quite often, larger ladies don't want their photos displayed so publicly. I have just checked our database and can't find that you are a customer (in the USA). If you ordered by phone that is why you wouldn't be there. However, if you purchased from one of our international distributors, please contact that person directly as we all offer email and virtual support for the system. It's up to you to take advantage of this support which is so freely offered. Kindly, Glenda Sparling - Sure-Fit Designs.

Loved this tutorial,I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I try my sewed up muslim to see the fit i struggle to get out of it afterward...is it possible to have a 31/2 shoulder length or i measured myself wrong at the shoulder. Thank you for your help

Diane Hotte - I'm so glad this information was of such benefit. thanks for your feedback. 3.5" shoulder line is pretty short. I'd guess you mis-measured. Put the bodice on and have someone take a photo. Email directly to me for a fit evaluation. Please see our photo guidelines on this page - surefitdesigns.com/pages/customer-service-commitment-support
