Hey! Just a tip... when u have tangles to undo put conditioner on and brush through. It’s a much faster process and amazing results! And afterwards when wanting to straighten doll hair. Ofc u may think that a hair straightener ruins hair, although if u put it on really low heat it’s amazing and straightens hair just like human hair! It gives amazing results and I have done it to many of my little sisters dolls! That results are great 👍🏻. Hope u find this helpful.

Nope I usually blow dry it first, or set the dolls hair out to dry then once it’s completely dry I am able to straighten it :)

I did try this method and the boiling did make Kelly's hair shiny and straight but I couldn't get the frizzy ends to smooth out. Do you suppose I didn't boil long enough?

Hmmm i personally don't use fabric softener, i've been using human hair conditioner instead, and in my opinion, its better for the doll(?), i don't know, i'ven thinking about using the frabric softener for a while, have you ever tried human hair conditioner? if so, is there any major difference between them?. Daniel•AX I often use human hair conditioner but this hair felt slightly greasy from the start so I didn’t want to add any additional oil to it. The fabric softener works nicely to soften the hair without weighting it down. I could have added some conditioner to it but the lotion sort of did the trick at the very end.

Suggestion. This is not hair. Wash with Dawn dishwashing soap. Boil water and take it off the stove and dip her for 30 seconds. The stick her head in fabric softener. Just letting you know that that is what I do.

Blow dry her hair while combing it and just keep it really tight to her head. Then use a little product to smooth it down. Works for me when I'm restyling bobs.
