The current out here can be super tiring and really strong. Apparently there is also a large resident shark which I haven't seen, but the boys who surf it all the time and the boaties will tell you about (or there was years ago anyway). It's a Japanese surfer favourite. All up it's not a really enjoyable place to surf for me because of the current and constant paddling (Nusa Dua is bigger and longer if you want a current battle). You can paddle out or pay for a perahu at Hyatt. The day in this vlog seems to be during the wrong season. See where the boat dropped them? That's no good and the captain could have gone out and around to the south of the peak if you ask him nicely in Indonesian.
