No for 2 simple reasons. water is way too cold to surf in boardshort, especially this time of the year. and then there are no trees in Mauritania. Just google map the country and you'll understand that is the Sahara desert. What i mean by trees is anything growing naturally from the ground higher than 6 feet. And in Mick's video, even though it's blurry, you can clearly see green tall vegetation behind the sand dune... according to the time of the year i would bet on the Guinea Gulf (offshore winds season and warm water) or Mozambique. But i'm like y'all.. i have no clue!

it's definitely not that wave in Mozam.. I have been there and it breaks differently to Mick's wave. Unless there is another right hander like that in Mozam. One thing is for sure though - needs a massive swell!
