I wish someone with a boat could have picked her up off the shore while she had the fish on, then take her out away from the shore and that ledge so she could have brought that monster in!! I was on the edge of my seat anxious to see what it was and how big! Still a great video though! Thank you!

We try to show the real Story and that one was not the ending we wanted. After Reviewing the Video I think it was swimming in to all the Seaweed and that’s why it kept doing it. Notice weeds on hook and weight when we pull it in. I felt horrible that is popped out when I had it. Halibut always seem to try to get down on the bottom and in something if they can thanks for watching we appreciate it

Great video! I was curious if they allow camping there at the Lowell Point parking area? I have a roof top tent on my truck so looking at staying in that for a night or two while fishing 😀

There is no fires or camping in that state park but I imagine you could call millers landing and rent a spot or find a pull out somewhere

What about using circle hooks?

You can’t set the hook it will pop out and it’s much harder than big river hooks cause on a on a boat your fish off the bottom and the fish will come up from the bottom and grab it and then head back down setting the hook
