Update: Tuesday 4-5-2022 A few morning low clouds, mostly sunny past 10:00am. Air temp low 56, high 67.
Wind calm to slight onshore SSW sunrise 6:35am slowly increasing SW 10mph 4pm sunset 7:16pm
Surf W and SSW on the good side this morning 3 to 5 with 6 foot faces for a few hours. Mostly 3 to 4 max 5 overall.
Water 59 up slightly.
Low tide 6:50am 0.3, high tide 1:05pm 2.9, low tide 5:32pm 2.1
Surf expecting little change tomorrow Wednesday, weather warmer next few days with lots of sun!..
Update: Wednesday 4-6-2022 sunny with a little thin low cloud haze morning, mostly offshore.
Air temp low 57 afternoon high 76.
Wind calm to light onshore NW sunrise6:33am slowly increasing peaking WSW 11 mph 5pm sunset 7:17pm.
Surf fair+ some lined up peaks a little mushy, mostly W today some S 3 to 5 foot faces, occasional 6 biggest NS.
Water 60 degrees.
Low tide 7:50am 0.6, high tide 2:51pm 2.6, low tide 5:25pm 2.5
Weather tomorrow a little warmer.
Surf expected to drop down a little overall Thursday..
Update: Thursday 4-7-2022 patchy fog early sunrise 6:32am then clearing to bright sun quickly as Santa Ana NE light offshore wind flow kicks in heating up air temps to 91 degrees on the sand, morning low 59
Wind stays offshore NE up to 10mph most of day turning variable onshore late, sunset 7:17pm.
Surf is good with these conditions with a few lips. 3 to 4 mostly 5 foot faces on the set waves, and a few max 6 WNW and S.
Water 61 up a little from yesterday.
Low tide 9:17am 0.8 and not much change until tomorrow am.
Weather expected warm again tomorrow Friday, and surf expected to be about the same..
Update: Friday 4-8-2022 sunny hot at the beach 91 on sand for high, morning low 63 briefly at sunrise 6:31am. Wind light offshore NE early turning variable onshore late morning slowly increasing peaking up to 12 mph W at 5pm cooling temp quickly , sunset 7:18pm.
Surf still good although WNW swell has dropped off leaving SSW swell slowly increasing but inconsistent.
3 to 4 foot faces on the outside occasional 5.
Water 62.
Low tide 10:55am 0.7, high tide 8:43pm 3.2
Weather cools down tomorrow Saturday highs mid 70’s or so, a few early morning clouds, more on Sunday.
Surf picks up a little SSW but overall size about the same with WNW down a little..
Update: Saturday 4-9-2022 cooler today as onshore wind flow kicks in.
Air temp low 61, high 72,mostly sunny.
Wind light SSE early sunrise 6:30am turning more S then SSW slowly increasing peaking 14mph at 4pm sunset 7:19pm.
Surf is up a bit with combined swells SSW holding and WNW slight increase. 4 to 6 faces on set waves with some peaks 7.
Water 60 degrees with increasing chop surface, manageable though most of the day.
Low tide 12:04pm 0.5, high tide 7:38pm 3.4
Weather about the same slightly cooler Sunday.
Surf about the same overall tomorrow expected..
Update: Sunday 4-10-2022 overcast low clouds most of the day, partial clearing late afternoon,
Air temp low 61, high 67
Wind SSE onshore early 5mph+ sunrise 6:28am increasing SW afternoon 12 mph, sunset 7:19pm,
Surf overall down a little and less consistent SSW mostly and WNW combined 3 to 5 occasionally, some peaks, but shape is mushed from S SW wind onshore and moderate chop,
Water 62.
High tide 5:06am 3.9, low tide 12:49pm 0.2, high tide 7:44pm 3.6
Worth a look late afternoon with slight tide push.
Weather expected to stay cool again tomorrow Monday.
Surf expected to increase a little on Monday overall combined..
