Surf's Hardest Shortcuts (TAS)

A compilation of 66t surf shortcuts that are possible but have not yet been completed, performed with tool assistance on Counter-Strike: Source.

The label at 19:30 is wrong, it should read 29.16 (-1.439). If a map isn't labeled with a time, it's because I didn't TAS the whole map.
This video took a lot of work, and some shortcuts were not featured because I got burned out checking them all. To see more information about the shortcuts, use this sheet:

In order to keep the video focused on the shortcuts, I cut short some clips that I didn't want to TAS the whole map for, or that I had already featured on my channel in separate videos.

yes it's DALL-E 2 copypaste explanation i typed on discord: dall-e has a feature that can paint transparent parts of an image you upload so i made that intro by progressively zooming out and having it paint the edges of the previous image think it was like 42? frames total, then upscaled them with gigapixel and did the zooming in after effects

This is slightly different atleast, on ksf people accidentally loop the stage by surfing back up to the start zone and into the end, batman showed it's possible to strafe directly to the end, which shouldn't be bannable

@@Paul_Surf didn't say it was, only people who intentionally abuse it multiple times to set records get smaller bans as warnings, boring s10 just happens cos the zones are shit, there was bans for it when people kept repeatedly doing it on purpose though

Looping b4's has always gotten times removed too, can't remember if ppl were banned for it but never heard about perms from it. Overall it's usually not allowed as it undermines skill but I'm sure there's some maps that have exceptions that i can't think of rn

this explains everything from years ago... i remember trying to replicate perfect movements of fastest surf times... I always wondered how they could do 10 spins down a spiral and not run out of mouse space ever... Tools completely explain it xD

nobody sets public records with tool assisted runs people using turnbinds for long spins, a bind that turns left or right at a constant rate when held -- completely different thing

It's called turnbinds, you can basically bind your mouse1 and mouse2 to Left and Right, that helps for spiral.
