Surf music instrumentals when done well, take on a certain jazz quality. These guys have it. The Kelp Dwellers are surf jazz masters.

I classify surf music as frantic, straight ahead and improvisational. This band manages to be all three. I have grown to really like them.

Kraftwerk's The Model drove me nuts. I know the song so well. Play it all the time And I couldn't figure out which song it was. In fact, every song n this album does that to me.

Lots of cool tunes. I wish the mix on the drums would have been a little "wetter" and not so pronounced. Sounds a bit like a drum machine.
