Surface Landing with Fully Loaded Hull-C | Star Citizen Experiment

They say Hull-C can't be landed on a planetary outpost when fully loaded. Maybe in further patches the damage model will break it down under weight, but It certainly can land just fine in the current patch. The biggest problem are selling the cargo and the way to climb back to the cockpit, you can't do it without assisting it with other vehicles/players.

I land horizontal on the cargo on side so the entrance is like 45 degree then I can use x1 to get on top of ship then just walk in then can tractor In X1

Wind came at 6:24 :) Thrusters are down,these are glowing visual artefacts, you can recognize working thrusters as they blow the dust away

Curious to know if a Hull-C could be loaded/unloaded from the ground while it is hovering. It can’t land, but it could be close enough for a crew with tractors to load the boxes. If the cargo grid could be disengaged, would they ALL fall off at once?

Why is your first person camera so weird? Are you using Tobii or Trackir in first person? I tried it on Tobii once and instantly disabled. It's so fricking disorienting. I wonder why it was a thing in the first place. SC is not like Arma where it's a lot more natural to turn your character's head with headtrackers.

I do run Tobii both in first and third persons. Mainly because, It allows for smooth camera control in cinematic view. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnm7ppqCqc-ZpJI I have a hotkey that toggles it in seconds. For example in FPS combat i usually set it to disabled, but when i explore I turn it on. In ship combat sometimes it's beneficial to have in on, sometimes it's better to disable it. To make it "natural" in first person you just need to calibrate settings properly, they are crap by default. Lots of guides on the web. Headtracking is also the only way to tilt the character's head in first person.

The flight model is unfinished.But the bigger concern is - future updates can potentially make it even LESS realistic that we currently have (cough cough... "Master Modes") Space drag is a thing nowadays btw: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIunaXt3nLtrpZo I really hope they reconsider the direction, but for now it looks like project is progressively dumbing down to appeal to casual players :(

You can load and unload it manually at the outpost, but you need another ship as a proxy. Currently loading cargo to Hull C directly is only possible at the major stations.

You mean - at Lorville? Devs lifted no-fly-zone restrictions in one of the recent patches, you have more freedom to explore the city and land at different spots. The middle area of the building still have the no-fly-zone.

@@GreasyMidget Large Cargo container don't fit to any of the outpost spawned ships (some suggested Hull A, but i doubt it can accept this size). I would work with something like the Cutlass Black as a proxy ship. And yeah, you have to unload it manually.

Not sure if Cutlass Black can fit these large containers, but we are doing it with Caterpillar as a proxy ship to sell drugs from ERT without any issues.
