This video made me cry SO HARD. Tears of joy for the future life that I’m building with my girlfriend. I’m a California surfer dude and I met my girlfriend on the beach a year and a half ago and now we live together and go surf every weekend. My mom is dying of cancer and my brother is an addict and the past year and half has been the hardest time of my life but the fact that I had my girlfriend there with me has made it so beautiful. She helps me through everything and I knew I was gonna marry her a month after I met her. Forrest you probably won’t see this comment but me and my girl met you in LA last year when you, bisquik and Atwood did the brunch show. We took a picture together and I met your mom Hahahaha. Thank you for this song and this video its exactly how I envision my life with my girlfriend and it made me cry tears of joy to think that I have this to look forward to even though life is so difficult right now. Wow. Just ... wow!! So much of modern music is just very predictable, ticks boxes and doesn’t have a lot of thought in it. Thank you KZbin recommendations and the songwriter(s)/band for giving me this! The rhythms are groovy, the music video is glorious and stylish, the words are meaningful and well-thought, and it all flows wonderfully. This is something you’d listen to on a sunny summer day with the car roof top down and the wind blowing through your hair with your mates, whilst also being the music you’d listen to on a comfortable night in with everything being chill. THIS, is what modern music needs to be more like! Taking in new rhythms and instruments (hopefully some brass/violin and/or sax thrown in on some pieces as they always sound good), whilst still remembering and being inspired by the powerful and moving lyrics of older songs from the 70s and 80s. Thank you for standing out from the usual modern music drivel and creating and playing music the way it’s meant to be - inspired and passionate! I hope you guys continue to knock it out of the park in the years to come, this is truly brilliant work and something to be proud of :)

I've been listening to Surfaces for around a year now (and no I didn't discover them through Hannah Meloche or tiktok like literally every other person lol), Bloom (especially bc of this video it's so cute) and Remedy are by far my favorite songs from them. A lot of other songs by artists nowadays are just about depression, anxiety, or just bragging about how rich they are, and it's always so refreshing to see something different. I hope they come to Chicago again, I've never been to a concert and I want theirs to be my first one. I used to never really have a favorite band or artist because I never had any sort of music style that clicked with me, but now I would definitely say that it's Surfaces. (also no offense to anyone who came from tiktok but it kinda annoys me that people will come when songs like sunday best get popular and then only use surfaces songs because they're aN aEstHeTiC and they're dIFFeREnT and HaNNaH mElOcHE uSeS ThEIr sOnGs, instead of actually being here and using their songs because they like their music and enjoy listening to it. that just kinda gets on my nerves lol bc so many of these people have never heard a surfaces song other than sunday best or shine on top.)

Damn, as an aspiring artist and illustrator, this animation was just as gorgeous as the art style was nice. Loved their facial expressions. Their personalities were nicely shown without even needing to know them! Not only do I love art, I like music too! Dancing is just as fun as listening to songs!
