Really nice to see these reviews from a non-pro-level surfing basis! (I don't think any pro-level surfer would seek surfboard review on youtube)

Nice content! My experience. After spending a couple of weeks on it, I felt it was still missing a bit of a drive. So I followed an advice given by Cory Lopez and put a new tailpad, cutting a piece of it, to move as further back as possible. It significantly changed the behavior of the board!

I can definitely see that working

Here in the US the Lib Techs are the same price as any other epoxy / high tech board on the rack. International freight isn't cheap i suppose. Have my sights on this shape next. You're ripping!

Hey Jeff, yip the export costs weighing in. I am very stoked on this shape, let me know how you go.

@@TheRegularGuyReview Rad, torn between the Swordfish, Rocket Redux or the Puddle Jumper HP. Might have to try em all.
@hgfs64793 жыл бұрын
@@JeffFadness swordfish will have the most drive down the line. rocket redux best for doing snaps, swordfish best for cutting/carving. PJHP best for doing airs, and off the lip. pick your poison

@@JeffFadness Got an HP Puddle Jumper and it is amazing. Live in FL so handles small beach break great. Took to El Salvador and it excelled in 2 ft overhead points as well. Waiting on swordfish to arrive in the next 2 weeks. Looks like both are going to be great boards.

@@hgfs6479 that's a solid breakdown. I think you're right on all those points. Sounds like I need one of each haha.

Thanks for this bru..i just got a 5'10 k.a to take to taiwan- looked like it would be good to travel with- small and strong. Was worried that as 6' and 75kg I would be too big for it- so, good to see a big fella like you rating it. Cant wait to try it. Shot

Ya it really impressed me for such a small board. I surfed it at 4-5ft supers and it went mental. Enjoy

Hi Kai, im close to pulling trigger on the RNF 96 by Lib Tech. The durability sound amazing and eco friendly is a bonus. Wanted to ask if your still enjoying the board, how do you think feel compares to other constructions. Thanks Bob
@TheRegularGuyReview2 жыл бұрын
Hi Bob, I surfed the LibTech for about 6 months and in that time no pressures or dings and still felt as good as day 1. I eventually sold it as I need to clear space on my board rack, but I am very keen to try the model you are looking at as well. If you get it please let me know and let them know about the show if it helped push you their direction. Have a super day!

Their site does mention its more difficult to ding & more eco friendly however at more than double the cost of a board from my local shaper its a pass for me
