Surfboard Shaping With Edgewater Surf | Part 5 | Bottom Glassing and Graphics

The board has been sanded/smoothed out and is now ready for the fiberglass and resin coat on the bottom. Jeff cuts out the graphics he drew for the bottom of the board and prints them on rice paper. He places them on the bottom of the deck and then cuts the sheet of fiberglass to put on top of the board. He makes relief cuts in the fiber glass to make sure there are no air bubbles when the resin is applied. He then mixed the resin and applied it to the board and started to spread it out. The process is repeated until all the fiberglass has covered in the resin. There's an extra layer of fiberglass over the fin boxes.
