Lou I am look at the ODM line getting kind of old 70 still get around, but the legs don't take in waves as well, I am going to be throwing 1 to 4 oz top water and buck tails. Looking to get to the second bar with going all the way to the to the first bar. Distance wise the 3/4-4 or 2-6 frontier x or genies. Thank u for your time, sounds nice ha I'm really not that nice, got a little of that PTSD, but I'm looking for and answer.

HARRY PRUITT frontier x 10' 6" 3/4-4 is the way to go easier to cast and gets more distance than the genesis.

So I've got a question. I currently own an Okuma Cedros CXS-S 10' MH that I love. I think that Rod is seriously underrated. I'm looking to purchase another Rod. I only ever use bait. No plugs or anything. I'm looking at either a Tica Dolphin (UGSA), or a Tsunami Airwave elite. Suggestions or thoughts?

Do not get a tsunami air wave! Their tip is VERY THIN,.I just broke one casting a plug! I thought that their technology was special and made strong.Wrong! Going to a Lamiglas Insane MHS!

One rod does not a whole batch make. You may have gotten the tip section dinged and left a weak point. I've got a bunch of Air Wave and Air Wave Elite rods. On my 10-ft MH rod, I've thrown 4 oz weights with a chunk of bunker with no problem, and even farther with 2 oz lures. Same goes for the Air Wave Elite rod. It's a 9-ft MH rod and It's thrown 2 oz weights with clam 150 yards and more. And Tsunami has one of the best warranties in the business. Bring that broken rod back to your Tsunami dealer and they'll replace it, no questions asked.

L.I. Archer What is an MH rod,150 yds. with 2 ozs.?? I want a rod to do that and farther if possible because I use metals,plugs,and buck tails 2 ozs. and up!! The thing that I did not like about the Air Wave is that the tip seems "tooth pic" small in diameter. Something that small and hollow is at least an accident waiting to happen! Maybe I did bump it or whatever, but I do not want to worry about having to be extra careful with my rod when I am jumping and fishing all over the rocks! Maybe if it was made with,or someone makes a rod out of some e-glass or hybrid carbon weave or something to make it stronger?

MH = Medium-Heavy (power) for fighting big fish. Lamiglas has rods that combine graphite and glass, but they are expensive.

I am thinking of selling my 10'6 mojo 2-6 oz for the 10 foot DNA rod. I am mostly fishing 2 3/8 super strike poppers and things like that. It bothers me that my rod is so thick and I really have to put my back into the cats for it to go anywhere. Should I? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
