Chris Epting does a great job. However, as a resident in the neighborhood, I attended and commented on all the thoughts and ideas for the mural. I was under the impression that most people wanted something that was more natural looking and representative of the wetland habitat adjacent to it, featuring the flora and fauna of saltwater marshes as something to cherish and appreciate it's significance. Definitely better than the plastic blue spheres but it could have been so much better.

Awesome story, Chris as usual. I've lived right there at Banning/Bushard for 21 years. Been looking at those plants for years. Thanks again.

I for one will be happy to see the grey stacks gone. They are and always have been an eye sore to the city and beautiful coastline.
