Surfing Ala Moana Bowl

Recently Oahu was hit with a solid South swell.This usually happens during the Summer time in Hawaii. North Shore will go flat so most of us drive to the other side of the island to surf.
This session Mason surfs for 4 hours and 55 minutes according to his Rip Curl GPS watch (There is a full breakdown clip in the video). He meets up with his Dad Michael and Uncle Derek to surf the 5-7 ft S swell. Mason really likes surfing Ala Moana because his Mom & Dad met there back in the day surfing.

Same here. I used to be all about Ben Gravy and JOB, but they got stale for some reason. Ben's videos are all the same: click-bait title, tons of talking, short clips of surfing that never live up to the title or thumbnail. JOB's vlogs are well-produced but they are too high-energy sometimes and JOB sometimes can be a jerk (esp to Gravy lol). Now, Im all about Nathan Florence&Zoard and Ho&Pringle. Nate and Mason's vlogs have the best surfing clips. Nathan has a good mix of talking and surfing. Mason is all about the family and soul-surfing, which I really enjoy. The gimmicks and over-the-topness gets old quick. (And I didnt even think to mention Koa Rothman or Eli Olson...)

Spoiler alert--Mason brings Kurt Cobain and Tupac back to the North Shore and they start a genre called Grunge-Hop that never gets popular.
