Oh Yes we were big fans of Dans surf videos too but I think he's done judging by his last post where he used a GoPro or a cell phone to record the historic June 17 SSW swell rather than his camera lens. We're prob not going to last forever either but this Winter we are defintely committed to bringing you some viral videos from the North Shore 🤞Mahalo for watching Larry! 😊

Aloha Eimy. I like your board with the checkered nose . Is that a Donald Takayama? The guy was a legend and a very knowledgeable shaper. Shaper Johnny Rice from Santa Cruz was a friend of mine . If you wanted a board from Johnny, you had to sit down with him and let him interview you. Ability, height and weight, and where you wanted to surf. Then he told you what you should be riding. And he was always right. I believe he and Takayama both learned to shape from Dale Velsey. Sadly all 3 are gone now. Lots of new talented board shapers out today though. Fortunately most of the newer shapers still respect the older designs ( with a few tweaks of their own). Mahalo for another great video!🏄‍♂️🏝🌋🏄‍♀️ Lance
