Thanks Beefs! Reminds me of New Years day 1983...with super strong Santa Ana winds. We were at Huntington Beach and my wife (girlfriend at that time was freezing on the beach!) Its a blind takeoff, you cant see a thing because of your face being blasted by spray, then, you are pretty much opening your eyes on the face of the wave, its an awesome experience, Santa Ana winds are fun to ride in!
