Surfing in Sennen, Cornwall

To all young surfers as now an old 67 year old quite ill pretty much home bound for me Sennen Cove and the glorious sunny day with perfect cyan waves I spent surfing there as a 14 year old boy is my most fondest memory because for one 'whole' day I was the only person there. Yes I had that whole beautiful beach and waves to my self, totally alone, apart from the cafe where I had a pasty and an ice cream cola. So to you young guys take in every moment because when you get old you will have far more shit memories than good ones. So I thank those who have made videos like this one as it brings back so much joy and happiness to counter how I feel at the moment.

Surfed this place (the other end) huge on a bodyboard a couple of years back 😱. Spent most of my time in the air. Top to bottom freefall drops on every wave into steep walled up righthand sections. 6-8ft easy (double overhead). Had so much fun, but rip was gnarly and had some super heavy wipeouts. Epic day though. Use the rip to get out and stay close to it to avoid ending up all the way down town end. My advice when it's big anyway 😉.
