Edmund Fitzgerald...low slopes on the bottom , the waves in storms are steep...but ..think 8 foot wave over 18 inches of water ..no safety in jumping off to the side , only rocks jagged an moist. ..also it's cold till late August, ice shock , it takes your breath away , and no salt , you sink ..say 8% deeper into the h2 o ...it's complicated ,

I surf all winter on the lakes... in a wetsuit. No surfers wear dry suits. Literally that’s not a thing

@@FreshwaterFloof also a quick google search would show you that a dry suit is in fact a thing. It is waterproof unlike a wet suit. If you are surfing where you can get frostbite from the water, probably best to not let it touch you as much as possible

@@richardouellette2506 you would think so, but the water that gets inside the suit gets heated very quickly with your body heat and it stays trapped under it so its actually a pretty pleasant on the skin.
