Yo Koa, we have them in Aussie and we call them blue bottles. That one you showed is small by Aussie standards., they have a long trail of tentacles that cam be metres long. Yeah Nathan they sting like hell I know from many experiences lol 😁. We usually get then on the east coast when the wind blows from the north to north east. First aid; peel the tentacles off asap, warm water to wash off and peel the tentacles off, watered down vinegar helps a lot afterwards, ice packs help big time too. DO NOT RUN sand into the area!

We get them in FL all the time, huge ones 6" tentacles, and they wrap around your arm or leg and stick to you. My first time I rolled the tentacle up and down my arm looked like a spiral line on bee stings around my arm. Feels like being electrocuted....PS. Wetsuits guard you from them
