Excellent view of the dangerous coral just beneath the water. Must be aware of and prepared to bail just right in order to avoid a world of pain. I was over in '67 and a friend from Galveston TX got his back literally torn off from the coral. Newbie; wish he had asked first. After a long stay in hospital he was aero-vaced back to the mainland. Most folks from mainland have no idea how dangerous those North Shore waters are. Graceful long-boarding on a small day is da bes to me. Hang ten!
