I've watched a lot of videos about the July swell, and this was the best IMO. If you really want to understand what it was like out there, watch this. Thanks . . . a total pleasure.

I would love to have paddled straight out to Populars and some of the other outer reefs and well known breaks like outside at Publics, #1,2, and threes reefs breaking outside in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. There are the outside waves that the outrigger canoes like to pick off and ride all the way into the beach. Very scary even in a canoe if you can picture the nearly vertical, and double overhead, long-drawn drop into a Bluebird wave. Aloha Waikiki!

I see me at 9:00 mark 😂🥴. That day was pretty fun and a bit wild to make it on some of the waves far out. I think I only made about four waves.
