An Entire Week of Perfect Conditions at Ocean Beach, San Francisco

Surfers lucked out with dreamy conditions and swell that lasted for an entire week at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. This surfing event was filmed from February 7th-11th of 2022.

Every wave overhead it’s a heavy wave 🌊… you want a heavy beach break? Then go to Puerto Escondido. That’s a heavy wave no matter the size!!

Gets like this every year. Funny how people always say, best in ten years, or biggest it been in ever. It gets perfect every year, just some days are better then others. The best I remember was the drought 2010 or something. We had a 2 year drought. All through oct and march not one rain drop and it was offshore for 6 months straight. Practically everyday. Plus the storms were far away. The swell was hitting but not the south wind rain pattern. That was a notable year.

Thanks for using a tripod and making it watchable. Good shots. When it's really big you can sometimes only get 4 waves in like 2 hours. The rest of the time is duck dive and paddle and being stuck inside. This is perfect size. even a bit smaller is what I like. catch more waves and less paddling.

For some reason you don't see to many novice surfers at ocean beach. Especially if it's on the second bar with current and top to bottom lips throwing. There is more than a handful of good surfers here. Lot of transplants living here so they can get Mavs. people from all over the world live here now just to surf mavs
