I prefer 4G LTE on my cell phone. It's perfect and fast for my needs. It's even faster then my home internet. I see 5G as a replacement for home internet.

I think if you have the money to spare, having it on your phone plan is definitely useful. If you’re in a big city or a place with amazing 5G coverage, turn it on and use it when you need it. Keep your phone on 4G most of the time to preserve battery when you don’t need it.

In India, we get unlimited internet with 5G 😎. So 5G is better than 4G where we can get maximum 3GB/day plan which is very expensive. [To get unlimited 5G we need at least 2GB/day 4G plan in India]

For me 5g is better since in India i get unlimited internet for like 4$ per month and i get speed upto 640 Mbps even though i am in sub urban area and 5g is everywhere in India.

Personal opinions: 5G towers not being everywhere is a good point. I think the bad coverage was thing before a thing (T mobile for example). I think the battery used by 5G depends on the phone brand and model. I somehow get the feeling that Bluetooth uses way more battery, idk I'm not an expert

Also, I've heard that the radiation that 5G transmits may affect negatively on people over time. But there is no real research to support this.

Some people in the comment section are from my country India, are happy only because they are getting unlimited 5G internet I think these people have forgotten that something similar happened on 5 September 2016 when Jio gave unlimited 4G data for buying Jio SIM and this plan lasted only till 31 March 2017 after that they Stop unlimited data plans and set the price for all plans on a monthly basis. Same will be the case with 5G. What is free now will not remain free for long. People should know their needs without thinking.They blindly moving in trend, this helps us to understanding the mindset of all those people who are buying new 5G phones just to bcoz they can use unlimited 5G internet now How strange are these people who are not looking at their own needs and are just following the trends ~

I have forced 5G to be on at all times. Ik it uses more battery but less ppl have 5G so there’s a better chance I can load things quicker since not many people are on it. Once more ppl are on 5G than 4G, I’ll switch back to 4G

The best was 3G at that time but when we compare to now 4G provides less speed as compared to 3G and i also tried 5G but 5G also provides less speed than 4G. The speed in the test is very high but when we use it regularly it is less!!!

In india, you get unlimited data with 5g with 2 of the 4 carriers that provide internet and most of the people here use that 2 carriers, moreover you get 5g like everywhere so it is worth it for us

See we've gotten to a point where everything that almost everything that happens online happens instantaneously. Like sure there's downloading and uploading large files but aside from that things like gaming, web browsing and watching videos work great on 100mbi/s

In India, there is recharge in JIO sim About 4 dollars per month, you can get 2gb Lte internet/ day 5g unlimited internet Unlimited calling 100 sms / day So it is worth it here😅😅😅
