Hey Junior! Thanks for teaching us about surge protectors. I would add, don’t get mad at the campground manager if the wiring is bad. It most likely was vandalized. But the surge protector is crucial to protect your investment.

My 2022 trailer is actually having a hardwired Power Watchdog installed while it's at Keystone for other work. What is the device you recommended so that the surge protector will detect a ground while running on generator power?

Eric, if you install the surge protector, there can be another video about a demo at a campsite. Imagine the beautiful backdrop the video thumbnail would have with the Rockies behind the camper. That trip could be covered under a business/marketing expense.

Watchdog portable. I can check the pedestal prior to pulling onto the site.

I've never had an issue of not having good power at an rv park, if you don't get 3 green, what do you do ? Obviously try another source, but is it always that simple ?

Get the campground to fix the outlet or get them to get you in a new site -JR
