He is blaming a tool of the persons intent of their heart and mind. Once a man or woman decides to carry out the murder of another human, the type of tool does NOT matter at all. If guns, as the weapon used as the tool, are banned, the choice of the tool will change but the victim will still be horizontally inactive PERMANENTLY. We also need to emphasize that all human life is precious. This would go a long way to helping with multiple social and health crises of our times, such as gun violence, loneliness, gang violence, homicides especially out of anger, domestic violence, and suicide. The pandemic impacted our sense of community, being able to be there for one another. And so many deaths led to feeling as though life is less valued now. It’s very important to re-emphasize that life is precious and we matter and let’s love one another.
