I personally thought that your happy/bubbly personality is one of the things that will help you be a great doctor. Considering that patients might be quite nervous/stressed about going into surgery, I would think that your cheerfulness would only help!!

Well she also has a TON of med school debt so not really lol but I love how her nice things display is so sophisticated and pretty minimal. So many youtubers start making money and their whole place is like they're suddenly a millionaire or something! They splurge on super $$$$ fancy cars and homes they can't really afford and $$$ dinners all the time. Love seeing a youtuber who's like "these are the few nice things I've been able to afford with youtube and I'm so proud of them I've put them on display!" that's so awesome.

Duct tape won't work longterm against a rat though. Fill it with something thicker before the tape and check on it once in a while to make sure the integrity of your blockade is strong

I can totally relate to your worst evaluation! I was always criticized by teachers & coaches for being too "goofy" and they tried to hold me back because they thought I wasn't taking it seriously enough. I think people just don't like happy people! You have an amazing personality and I'm so happy I found your channel because it helped me see that it's ok to be myself! And you should be so proud of yourself for how far you've made it. The doctor who gave you that evaluation didn't have a clue what they were talking about!

I live in northern Africa, but I'm definitely pursuing USMLE, so hopefully I match in the next year and half or two, using step 2 material to study for my fifth and final year and for, well step 2, and trying to study for step 1 also! I like to help so maybe you need to hear this, but even though I've always been an A student, med school humbled my grades so much, and the problem was cramming books, try using videos and watch how your life changes oh my!! Haha I feel like a genius all over again. Where are you from in the US, and what academic level are you in?

that's why I absolutely love her lol she's so relatable. A lot of youtubers (med students) put a pictureperfect med life filter on having top marks, organized life, very posh, etc. but America talks about her weaknesses & struggles and it makes you think that big dreams can be achievable even for those that may feel average.

Being a Doctor is pretty impressive. Being a Surgeon is pretty impressive. But the amazing thing about you is HOW LITTLE STUFF you have. You are young. The battle isn't over. Stuff grows on you. It grows on it's own. You have to fight it, day after day. Good luck. And thanks for sharing. In the west coast, you can't even rent a one-bedroom apartment with 3 other people for $800 per month each.

Thank you for looking into and trying to understand addiction. I am a recovering addict with over five years clean but I got addicted to opiates after being on them for over ten years for a medical condition. After my condition was cured my brain and body were forever changed as far as my tolerance to opiates. I luckily have a wonderful support system and got help but that is not the case for most addicts. Anyway, it warms my heart to know that a doctor like you is trying to understand addiction and that addicts still have pain and should be treated with understanding and appropriate care! Also, I love your apartment!!!! So happy for you!🧡

Although I’m not studying to become a doctor, I’m studying for clinical science (to work in lab) you inspire me to continue forward and to work hard for my grades. Because like you said, it will be worth it at the end!✨
