It may be pointed out that majority of the patients in our region ( south east Asia ) can’t tolerate the modern FLOT chemotherapy. So the effects ( outcome ) of de-escalated chemo or its modification in comparison to ECF is yet to be established.

Some say early gastricc cancer is limited to mucosa and submucosa.and late gastric cancer involves musculosa,serosa... is late gastric cancer the same as advanced gastric cancer, or are they different terminologies?

Thank you very much for your question. Early is as you've described, advanced is muscularis, serosa and beyond. There's early onset gastric cancer which occurs < 45 years age and late onset gastric cancer is > 45 years age.
