Hello Shane Friedman, I am addicted to your videos. I’m not involved in the medical field. I will be having Aortobifemoral Bypass Surgery and was looking for videos about that surgery and also came across your videos. If I was not 61 years old, I would find a school to become a Surgical Technologist. You have taught me so much. You have encouraged me to watch videos of Aortobifemoral Bypass Surgery. It was a bit strange at first, but I did get used to it. I have also watched other operations and a few autopsies videos too. Which were also strange at first, but I was able to watch them and not be bothered. Your videos have caused me to search for other medical information to know. I believe everyone should keep learning new things and to not ever stop learning. I have watched numerous videos you have made and watched some over and over. To me you’re not just helping surgical techs and students, but anyone interested in understanding what goes on in the Operating room. Respectfully I thank you Shane for sharing your knowledge and experiences. GOD be with you always.

Hey, I'm the UK equivalent of a Surgical Tech - ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) - and I've found your videos super useful; you have definitely explained things better than a lot of my lecturers could! :)

Very interesting as always, I'm glad there are people who share the passion for their work; you remind me of that "bakery work" guy, another man passionate about his trade. Medicine is not my field and I know very little about it, but thanks to you I have a window on the inner workings of something I completely ignored the existence of before, thanks again for posting videos and keep it up!

That’s a lot of instruments! I’ve recently reduced all our trays down to the bare minimum to try and reduce the amount of work for the staff in sterile services as new guidelines state every instrument must be hand washed before going in the washer / autoclave... we’ve now got a basic set and lots of stuff in supplementary - double wrapped.

Hey chief always been a pleasure watching your videos , so much that they even got introduced into our surgery tech class. I'm nearing my last term in the program, and your videos have definitely helped my rotation. A great video would be to show your setup, and show it as universal as you possibly can so people that give you a break can utilize your setup, and how to touch things only once, some days I have issues with doing that

Hello there, I am sorry if you have said your name or not but I don't remember. I finish my school in 2104 and I have never worked with instrumentation because I had work with intervention radiologist and we work only with wire and balloons. I just got a new job at Emory Hospital here in Atlanta and I hate make mistakes specially if the patient start to bleed, I have past a feel wrong instruments to the surgeon. What should I do to NOT get so nervous before the case start? by the way your videos are very helpful to me. Thanks man

Hi I've watch alot of your videos and I find it very informative.. I am a sterile processing technician with a little over a year work experience here in the US as sterile processing but I have some years of experience overseas in abu dhabi to be exact. I just want to ask what can you advise to someone like me who's looking for a job as sterile processing here in the US? I'm cbspd and crcst certified please let me know what to expect when joining a new facility or hospital. i just lose my recent job because of pandemic, our facility is getting less patient and they have to let go some of the people and I'm one of them. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give for me to find a new work place. Thank you
