Never played pokemon never watched it. Started seeing KZbin videos and now going to start collecting. If I collect every single card does that make it a master set or is that only when it’s like 151 all of one gen pokemon? And how do I know every single card that I need to collect for this set

Don’t try to collect every card in a set, yes that’s called a master set. It’s probably the stupidest way to collect. Collect the cards that you like, for the artwork, or a certain pokemon you like, a certain artist, etc. Only retards do master sets.

I just started collecting again somewhat recently myself! From what I understand, people tend to measure their master sets with a different ruler. Haha. But on the bottom left of the cards it'll have set numbers for each card - x/x (67/100 for instance). The base set is going to go up to that number (100/100). The special cards will surpass that number (150/100) - for Scarlet & Violet sets. Most people want to collect the base set plus all the different special cards...etc for the master set. You can find all the cards in the set online on the official site, or if you buy an ETB (Elite Trainer Box) of that set, it'll come with a booklet that shows all the cards. I like to buy and ETB and put the booklet in my binder. So i said people measure with a different ruler, some people want holos and/or reverse holos (when applicable) of all the normal commons/uncommons/rares, some people don't care and just do one of every card regardless, and some people just collect the base sets (100/100)...etc. Really, it all comes down to what you want to see in that binder, how you want to have fun with it... annnnd how deep your pockets are. 😅

I don’t know how to tell how they are reverse holo or normal only one I can tell is full art lmao but thanks this is the info I’ve been looking for all week

For the newer sets normal non-holo cards will be common/uncommon cards. Common/uncommon can also have reverse holo cards. Base set rares can have holo or reverse holo (older sets can have rares thar are not holo). Holo is when the cards art window has the foil, reverse holo is when the rest of the card excluding the art window has foil. Idk if that made sense or not. Lol.

So far for me this set is a 9. Would have been a 10 if the Pika sir was different. Don't get me wrong the Pika in person is actually stunning. But the Milotic and some of the other cards are just that beautiful. I will be going in on this set!

so the hydreigon looks almost similar to the pic in person its got sort of a faded/ blurred vibe seen a guy pull it on a early release event its still probably my top sir from the set. I do like the Pikachu. its subtle but nice wish they would've done like a view from the ground view staring up into the sky, where you can see the latias/latios cards in that same scene style. I think that could've made for a banger card and probably a card that would've been on levels of moonbreon or around that ballpark. overall set is nice its up there with temporal forces with me a good quality set to have and crack open. paradox rift still one of the best sets in S/V era

this set seems lackluster is it just me? I feel like shop owners and poketubers are hyping this set for there gain but it really doesnt have much..No starter illustration rares..no eevees, no zard...its got a Pikachu and an Ok Latias..big deal im waiting for the next one. dont fall for the hype on those prices ive seen for BBs Edit: also like the Lisia of courseand the tree card!
