Thank you for watching! This is my longest animation to date and it was definitely difficult to make it, especially since many scenes contained a lot of models which lagged my computer a lot. Nonetheless, I'm relieved that it's finally out!

Time loops are scary… but the scariest ones are the ones when you know you are IN a loop, but unaware that you’ve been in another one for much much more longer than the ones you’re currently in.

@@kingofthepod5169 So,you know knots? Imagine one part of a knot is a _smaller_ knot. The protagonist already said that the day was repeating itself while he & his coworker were at the cash register. BUT the week itself seems to be a timeloop, since the story begins & ends with the protagonist having to watch those tapes. Also, sorry for not replying in almost 10 days.I seem to have permanent 9+ notifications on my screen's HUD,so I sometimes just don't bother.

Good job. Its implied Jeremy went back in time and burned down his own house so he could lose the cops in the "present" and after that the narrator no longer mentions jeremy as if he snuffed himself out of existence until the end where he shows back up as the new guy again

@@TywayNgl thats the one thing in this story that confuses me. It is implied Jeremy is the estranged son and set the house on fire, he says everyone was at home but he also says noone survived the fire, but then immedately contradicts himself by saying authorities tried to contact the estranged son but failed, (which implies that if the authorities were so certain everyone was at home, noone survived but Jeremy) which means he survived and grew up to become Jeremy. Man this just hurts to think about.

i believe the scariest part about this story is how in a story like this, you'd expect everyone to call the narrator crazy, yet no one but himself actually calls them crazy sometimes, good creepypastas don't need killers or hyperrealistic blood or haunted discs to get a good scare, sometimes you need a hint of someone going slightly mad

Summary: Jeremy was the estranged son from the family and probably was an anomaly that has the power to control time, He used his power to travel back into the present where he was a adult and applied for a gas station job, then he looped time so he could have a infinite supply of motor oil and keep stealing them until 12:03AM where he stopped and realizes that the cameras was watching him the whole time so he stole the motor oil one final time and then scared the crap out of the narrator, Then after stealing the motor oil he traveled back in time and doused his entire family home when they were sleeping and threw a molotov cocktail and traveled back to the present then he disappeared, at 13:59 it is possible that Jeremy was watching the narrator.

I remember as a teen I had the original in my watch later for a long time. I forgot most of the detail aside from Jeremy's time fuckery. This animation chilled me to my core. It captures everything about the story perfectly and adds so much to the narration. You certainly nailed it. I just about shat myself when Jeremy's face popped up. Anyway, I'll watch this later. I had to stop racking my brain on thes pasta. This is why I love chronopastas. The concept of being trapped in a time loop is horrifying. Also...did Jeremy come from the past to steal the motor oil for his molotovs? That one confused me...but that is the most logical solution. Or maybe Jeremy became trapped in a place between time and space or became trapped in time itself. Then after death became some kind of temporal being and is reliving what he did. The side effect is that those who get involved with him become trapped in time loops. Like some kind of virus he passes on to victims.

Close. He stole the motor oil to soak the house with. He went to the future to get it because that way he wouldn't leave a trail that anyone could follow. The molotov cocktail didn't require anything special, so it was native to the 1990s. The problem for those trapped in the story is that he's using a nested loop solution. The big loop is only revealed at the end of the story, with the sub-loops taking place over the course of it. This is ideal for him, since it means that even if someone else with his power became aware of him, they'd have to be able to break the loop to do something about it -- and, as the time-travel axiom goes, they didn't, so they won't.
