I lived in Sheridan Wyoming for three years. We were surrounded by the Big Horn Mountains. My dad moved our family out there from West Palm Beach, FL my junior year in high school. Tif, you are adorable. We lived in both places (WY and MT). We saw moose, bear, porcupine, elk, antelope, eagles, armadillo, and skunk (ha) often. Once when we were hiking a mountain lion crossed our path. If I could, I would head back to MT in a heartbeat. So glad you got to experience God's beautiful country. Aw that’s so cute! Fun fact on some of the animals, I’m Swedish and we also have moose and reindeer (what you call carabou is what we refer to as reindeer) and in our region between Norway, Finland and Sweden, the native people Sámi are exclusively the keepers of the reindeer ☺️ Also the male moose seasonally shed their antlers and the female moose does not have any antlers 😊

We stayed in the same cabins..so cute and convenient to a lot of sights. The Buffalo Bill Museum was amazing especially the firearm and Native American sections of the museum. But the Tetons were the star of the show. We took a raft trip down the snake river. We went in September and it was 30 at night 70’s in the day. I too took a trip to Walmart for sweatpants to wear over my shorts! Thanks for taking us along!! Great memories for sure!

We love cowboy village. We stayed there last week. We have gone there every year for the last 10. That was where we took a picture announcing we were pregnant. He is now 6 1/2 and loves the yearly vacations to those cabins. He rides his bike all over the resort. Fun times. This year we stayed I. 153…just 2 cabins away from yours! We love cooking our meals and grilling outside. Then finishing with s’mores of course.
