Manuel Seminario I'm in no way saying Jenny shouldn't be excited, but since this was her sisters moment, and her new fiance is trying to I assume say something sweet or nice or emotional to her, let them say it and then you can go nuts. I've witnessed two engagements of family/friends that happened as a surprise in front of me, and everyone shh'ed each other, let them say or do what they did, and then we all broke out and went crazy. But---again, I understand different people, different circumstances, and like I said, if they are happy, then whatever.

It was her natural reaction- and that's what made it wonderful. He knew they would all be there for the proposal so if he had wanted a quiet private proposal he could have done it that way. Obviously he wanted everyone to be there.

I feel your pain with your battle against getting sunburned, but my struggles are a little different. As a child I was white blonde with fair skin. This was before sunblock and the only products out there were for helping you get a tan. People were still using baby oil and the only thing on the market that promised to help you get a quick tan was called QT and it turned you orange and streaky. Up until I hit 24 I could get a beautiful golden tan, but I had to work on it slowly because I would turn into a Lobster if I stayed out in the sun without taking breaks or getting into the shade every so often. I had my share of nasty sunburns during my childhood. The summer before 4th grade was one of the worst. The neighborhood I grew up in had an Olympic size pool that all the families in the neighborhood could use. After learning to swim and passing the swim safety test a child could go to the pool without a parent. We had a group of lifeguards who monitored the pool, clubhouse and surrounding area that included the tennis and basketball courts. I went with my best friend and we had planned to make a day of it. They did sell some food and Ice cream truck came by daily. We had packed some food and drinks in a small cooler, a book, a deck of cards, a radio and sunglasses. We were in and out of the water all day until we had to head home for dinner. It was such a fun day of playing in the water and goofing off we our friends as they showed up and joined the setup we created in a corner between the fenced kiddie pool area and a large area that had both pool chairs/lounges and a few tables. Well after getting home and doing any chores that needed to be done and being out of the sun, my sunburn really started to show. The next morning I was in so much pain and had blisters on my face and back. The rest of my skin was more on the level of 2nd degree burns, but my cheeks and shoulders were closer to 3rd degree burns. My parents took me to the doctor because it was so bad and the doctor gave me a prescription for a medication in a cream lotion that really helped. Now the terrible blisters on my cheeks eventually turned into scabs that I had to be very careful not to mess with as it could leave bad scars. I got another bad burn when I went to Hilton Head with a family I babysat for. I used sunscreen and had the mom make sure my back was covered. I hadn't been out in the water with the children when I started to feel my skin prickle. Turned out I was allergic to the ingredients in the sunscreen. Thankfully it was only my back that time. After age 24 I started to burn if I didn't have sunblock. Even the short amount of time on the playground with my students when we came in my arms and face could be very red and burnt. So now I have to avoid staying out in direct sun without having sunblock on.

Use sunscreen theres lots of them and very good ones even though my husband is full blooded Portuguese. He is very white and he burns so much but he combines a couple of sunscreens and they work good you should try it OOo and CONGRATS ON THE COUPLE FOR THE engagement
