Today, I FINALLY get to reveal the surprise makeover I've been working on to my mom!! With a few DIYs, paint, and some new furniture pieces, I was able to completely transform my old childhood bedroom into a calm guest room and wardrobe for my mom and dad. I know this is an _older_ makeover, but a suggestion for the bed when the room is oddly shaped and/or the entrance to the room opens to a corner- Position the bed to come straight out from the corner opposite from the doorway; in this case, from the windows. My mom, an interior designer, has done this a couple of times and it turns out perfect for the room’s design as a whole. My mom even decorates the corner behind the bed…like, she’s done a large palm plant and/or other faux trees and ivy. My teenage bedroom was set up this way, too, and mom used a decorative mosquito net hung above the bed in the corner of the ceiling; it was just such an elegant design that I would love to have again one day! 🤍 Loved this makeover! It turned out so very lovely, and is so calm & fresh. Perfect for both your parents and their -children- guests who come to visit! 😜😍 #wholesomecontent

I just bought the Black and wood color version of that closet organizer and I love it:) I love the white version too. I like the dressing room feel.
