I really enjoyed that Andrea & hope you enjoyed your visit there. I went to Berlin just six months before the wall came down, it's hard to believe that was over 30 years ago! At the time, East Berlin still had damage from WW2 and poor infrastructure. The city looks much more relaxed & prosperous now.

the beer was DELICIOUS!! We were so hot and ready for a cool beer by time we got there. I didn't even drink all the beer I had in my hand during our walk there because it got warm - so a cold one was heavenly!

The train was easy, mask on for the ride unless in your seat. No questions at all actually.

It is definitely very different here. But I guess they are doing something right because numbers are better than other places in the world. In Berlin we were told you have to have a mask when you are indoors, very few wore them at the beer garden.

It looks beautiful there but please where your mask there was way to many people to close together to close for comfort 🙏 stay safe but at the same time enjoy your time there together but stay distant away from others. That one lady at the beer park where you where eating that lady was way to close

We did follow all the rules of the city, keep in mind that countries around the world are in different states of this pandemic, we did what we were comfortable with. We waited a while to get that table so we could have some space between people - which most people weren't doing. We did our best to keep space between us and the people next to us but they eventually wiggled over and we were nearly falling off the bench haha Sorry if it made you uncomfortable to watch :(

I don't think the lady next to us was one of those people - things are just treated a little differently there, and here in Amsterdam too :)
