This is “appearance of impropriety” but a defendant having his case heard by the judge who he appointed himself isn’t? How does that make ANY sense?

What happens to those indicviduals whlo plead guilty if Fani Willis and her office are disqualified?
@rjunehwbКүн бұрын
I have wondered about that, too. It is sort of like Trump's Financial advisor, Allen Weisselberg, and his fixer, Michael Cohen, go to prison but not Trump. I guess going to prison for your boss is like falling on your sword for Caesar.

This is obviously political in nature for those two judges to dismiss Fani Willis’ entire office from the prosecution. We MUST have judges who are NOT making decisions based on political leanings. This is outrageous and it is showing the weaknesses that have crept in to our judicial system.

Jessica Denson, "Congress must stop trump's illegal presidency," w/Kaitlin Byrd Watch this video, pay attention to the little clip of Jaime Raskin, and hear what these two ladies have to say regarding _stopping trump from becoming inaugurated!_ It involves *YOU* (I would too, had I been a US citizen) contacting a few Senators and demanding of them to act pertinently, preferably ASAP. Read if you will Ms. Byrd's article in Dame Magazine as well: "King trump is not inevitable"
@camelsheit_on_the_walls4462 күн бұрын
Also highly recommended are Denson's more recent videos; "Women of the resistance won't wait for trump to destroy it all" , w/ authoritarian expert & co-host of Gaslit Nation, Andrea Chalupa. & "trump cannot constitutionally take office" , w/ Constitutional law professor Evan Bernick. Beneath this video is the link to a petition to Congress demanding an amnesty bill. *SIGN IT.* And spread the word! PLEASE; *do not obey in advance.* Make your voices heard *NOW,* while you still can!

If Willis was a "single cat lady" they'd have said her single, non-family lifestyle was suspicious and problematic. Being a woman is an achilles heel.
@ginahenderson33812 күн бұрын
This is true, especially in GA. I lived there for the longest year and a half of my life, and I can safely say that I ran into a lot of disrespect and misogyny in my everyday life. I decided that I couldn't raise my kids there, especially my daughter. As for Willis, being a person of color probably added to it due to the bigotry that exists in that state as well.

Are there more than two judges in this entire country who aren't afraid of Trump? The only two that I have heard of who aren't afraid to actually prosecute Trump are the judge in Colorado who adjudicated him an insurrectionist and said he wasn't qualified to be on Colorado's ballot and the judge who dissented in this case. All the others are either too afraid or have been paid off by Trump. So because of this, and because of the pathetic excuse for employees in the court system, we're stuck with Hitler and his unelected cohort

POV: They started looking for issues to derail this crime long before anyone could see their actions. Unfortunately for MS Willis, she had to be the main target because She would fight to win, so she had to be removed in order for the case to be dismissed... and it probably will be dropped. The next person will not pursue the matter.

The Constitution states that insurrectionists can not hold a government office unless a two third majority in both Congress and Senate allows him to . In my opinion, the onus is on Trump and the GOP to secure the votes required to take office . Failure to do so should result in a cancellation of transfer of power through default . Under normal circumstances, the incoming president would take an oath to defend the Constitution . But in this case, he would be removed for breaking the pledges while in the process of destroying the Constitution that he pledges to protect . May I suggest that as Commander- in -chief of the armed forces that he faces a firing Sqad . This would force Trump to Grov.el before the people he often refers to as losers
