Surprise Visit: Rahul Gandhi Meets Indian Railways Loco Pilots at New Delhi Station

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a surprise visit to the New Delhi Railway Station on Friday. During his visit, he met with around 50 loco pilots of Indian Railways. The loco pilots shared their concerns, particularly about the lack of adequate rest, requesting a weekly rest period of 46 hours.

I am unsure whether the railway will be privatized, but if that happens it will shoot up inflation as freight transport contributes the maximum revenue for the railway, just like we have seen in the telecom sector. Even complaints of high parking charges are against adani by the airway companies, it will be the same here
