Surprised Catch at Woodman’s Point Jetty

Caught a Big Flathead on woodman’s point Jetty, very surprised with this catch using a small 15 grams metal lure. Letting the lure sink all the way to the bottom then combination of fast and slow retrieve caught this good fish.

What is the light rod you use Chris - I have a Vanford 3000 too & i'm looking for a new rod for squidding/land based fishing.

Just a 1 - 3 kg rod bro 7 ft 2 pc. But need replacing as it snapped. Longer than 7 feet you need for casting farther.
