Field stones must be picked up after plowing or cultivating and before planting. To obtain stones you have to buy the more expensive of the two debris crushers. It has a conveyor belt that outputs stone much like the barge.. I guess the barge is providing stone for the various lime stations around the map and not the concrete facility.

The field is planted, so the stones are in effect locked in. If you were allowed to remove the stones you would have to reseed the field as the stone picker would disturb the seeds. This is not a bug, happened in 22 as well.

@@Challenger-Mark The only thing is I tried a contract (off screen) to pick up stones from someone else’s field and the same thing happened - no stones. New to fieldstones so I’ll keep trying…..
