Edit: Also I just noticed the formula you wrote for damage resist is incorrect, that's more like the defense formula, among others. Incoming damage after damage resist would be: Base Incoming Damage * Π(1 - Individual Damage Resist Source). If you didn't have any additional sources of damage resist when you tested this on rogue, it may be that the comp bonus isn't anything special. That would be normal behaviour if it's the only source of damage resist. Idk exactly how it was tested, I may have missed it while skimming over the video. But if that's the case you may want to double check this. Minor nitpick, semantics, but technically the damage resist would be additive, while the normal formula is multiplicative. Additive is better for damage resist, or any stat with negative direction. Damage resist is different from damage bonus, since it's working in the reverse direction. The usual formula works like: you take 1k damage, 10% damage resist brings it down to 900. another 10% resist using new 900 as the base (similar to how multiplicative damage bonus uses the new increased damage as a base) decreases damage taken to 810, a total of 19% less damage taken. Or just 0.9 * 0.9 = 0.81, ofc they're multiplying. Additive would be 10% + 10% = 20% damage resist. or 1 + (-0.1) + (-0.1), a straight 20% decrease in damage taken, instead of 19%.

Sehanine Priestess is not something I've seen you mention, it seems to give 4% crit and I assume a 4% crit avoid debuff on enemies, but you have to be within 15'.

"Hit" as in struck by a mob or does a dungeon effect trigger it? Axe phase in mdwp for example.

Now you've covered how useful that companion is. It wouldn't surprise me if Cryptic sees this upload and then puts it on the Zen Store (💰💰💰) ....obviously once the sales drop off in a month or three, that's when they'll nerf it (lol)

Id have to disagree here... we setup crit avoidance not to take less damage every hit but to take less damage when it matter (when we get critted) this damage reduction bonus have an atbest 33% up time, its a hard pass for tank. Not worth using at all. If cryptic change this it will become completely useless while its already not BiS in most cases Id rather a 2% DR that is perma up vs this one.

When you are running content where you have no fear of getting one shot, then crit avoid is not as impactful as just reducing the average damage you take overall. Sure if you are running content with tankbusters where you are afraid of being one shot, then yes, do run your crit avoid

@@Aragon- I think this one feels more usefull for content like lomd 1st , mdwp first , mtic first, Crown alike combats where we keep taking the damage nonestop rather than a massive tank buster ,probably can add mdwp 2nd boss too to this list and maybe the whole fights for mtos , coz most of the fights are like funny small damages and a massive huge incoming one. Example in mlomd second boss I'M not even blocking anything other than the tank buster to get my stamina back as a fighter and my tank is a budget one always on lower than bare min of the dungeons , I think I'M tanking mlomd around 88k or 90k can't remember.

I've used the Minotaur Player Bonus power on Alts as it's already mythic, and my Minsc, NW Knight and so on are Epic. I think using better powers does something to TIL or base damage? Bolster is the same, of course. {:o:O:}
