We are doing the entire front row from LHR to NY end August, A350 out, A330neo back, all Retreat Suites, (well the centre two), my only fear is that they change the airplane to something else......!

That’s amazing, enjoy! Virgin isn’t known for frequent equipment swaps so I doubt you’ll get Qatar’d on those flights. 🤣

We booked the retreat suites with the sale this past summer and they did change our plane out and we ended up with NO RETREAT SUITE. Then were told that they could change it at their discretion if they desired. They changed the plane twice actually. first time we ended up on the older 787 plane and then switched to a A350-1000 (neither of which has the retreat suites). So they can change it if they desire then tell you the A330 NEO plane is not being used for 'that route' (JFK to heathrow) any longer. Hopefully yours was not changed.

I believe the proper way to use the hot towel is to just use it for your hands and not your face but being on a long tiring air flight I guess you can throughout the rules :)

Is it worth it? Whenever asked this question I always say a big fat NO! In what other walk of life would you pay 4 figures for a slim seat/bed and airline food? For those prices I could get 24 hours in a good hotel and a top notch 5 course meal. Nothing above economy, in reality, is “worth” the cost in my opinion. Yeah it’s nice, but must be one of the least value things you can spend money on. On a positive note, good video man
