@@Boilingfrogg's not abandonement. Its hardly ever so black and white. Once you're pregnant, you're trapped because nobody will even make an effort to understand your perspective. Therefore, all you can do is make the choice thats best for the baby and you. Abortion? Killing babies. Adoption? Abandoning babies. Keeping the child? Raising a child in poverty is looked down upon. At the end of the day, people will conclude 'keep your legs shut'. Too little too late at that point. Besides, birth control fails, its not always due to recklessness. In the end, we don't know her situation. He looks like he's growing up great, so she made the right choice by him. Fathers just the same.

I'm adopted. My birth mother had me at a young age and came from a very poor family as well as struggled with an addiction to alcohol. As much as she wanted to keep me and for the first 3 months of my life truly tried to care for me, she came to understand that she just couldn't raise me in her current condition. Hence, she surrendered custody of me, and I was later adopted by the wonderful mom and dad that I have today. However, I do still have contact with my birth mother. When I first learned that I was adopted, I felt a deep sense of resentment towards my birth mother, but after getting older and coming to better understand why she couldn't keep me, I feel like i can appreciate her even more now. What she went through wasn't easy, but she's made it clear that despite her own struggles and flaws, all she ever truly wanted was to see me grow up loved by people who love me the same way she does. She wanted to see me become successful and let me go because she knew she wouldn't be able to lift me up and support me in ways I may have wanted. She knew that adoption was the right choice because she loved me. Adoption isn't always the result of failed or neglectful parenting. Sometimes, it's the most loving and most selfless sacrifice one can make for the future of their child.

@@fvis I'm thinking the bio mom must have (or might have) seen her son when she did give birth to him? (But I don't know if there are instances where the mom opts to not see/bond with her newborn that she is having to give up for adoption) Either way, a mother's loving heart just 'knows' her child's beauty. I'm thinking the mom was proud/impressed at what a good and healthy and kind young man her son turned out to be. For me, when my daughter was growing up through all the states of learning... "Don't cross the street without looking" "Be kind to others, but don't 'trust' strangers" "Save more money than you spend" "Love and trust God first above all other things".... I realized at some point that when I would compliment her and say "I'm so proud of you!" ... That what I was experiencing, and meaning to relay to her, was not "proud" as in "Pride". I was not trying to say that she was 'better' than anyone else, or that if she was had not achieved whatever... (scoring a goal in soccer, drawing awesome art, good grades, helping a friend, making the scrambled eggs for everyone at Christian family camp, serving at the Women's Christmas Tea even with one arm in a cast, etc)... that I would love her less. I wasn't saying "proud of" to mean pride, but I realized I was feeling: ReLief, and thankfulness and profound happiness, that at each little landmark of her learning and accomplishment, she was now "safe" or safer, independently of me having to guide her. I was "proud" (grateful) that she was becoming more equipped to go her way safely and make good choices. (Of course that can only be a parent's "hope". Each child is unique person, and we are all fallible in our own imperfect natures. Each of us ultimately, no matter how 'good', can go adrift and as adults stray far from what we had learned before. (Especially in today's upside down counter culture that abhors or ignores God's Authority and Godly precepts of good morals and wisdom. I believe we are in an age of increasing spiritual warfare. Do pray for each other, and especially our prodigal, now teens and adults, children.)

Most of the time biological mothers don’t want to give their child up, but due to terrible living situations, bad timing, or just being unable to support a child, mothers have to make that call whether to bring their child down with them or send them out with a hope of a stable family being able to give their child a better life than with themselves. I was adopted from China, and there was a child limit when I was born, also I originated from a very small village so poverty was rampant there. True. But every son & daughter has a right to know where they came from - and it's no sleight to their adoptive parents! It's more a need to know their origins, & to find their place in the world.. "Why didn't my own mother want me & where do I fit in?" There's always some sense of rejection - and yet no parents who adopt do so unless they really really want a child. While most adoptees have a good upbringing & are treasured, there are always exceptions. This man's parents obviously did a brilliant job ❤️

In fact, I would still feel the same way even if I discovered later on that it had been staged! I doubt that you've ever known anyone very closely who's ever been adopted - or someone who has adopted out a child of their own. My stepmom organized a meeting for all 3 of them and my stepmoms mother was very angry and horrible toward the daughter she gave up for adoption. Amazing how many people don't understand that 2 out of every 100 women get pregnant despite using their birth control regularly sometimes you get pregnant before you are capable of being a good parent. It takes so much strength to give away your most treasures possession to give him the life he deserves. You can see the love in this video it's beautiful ❤️
@jamesmcdonnell2455
@jamesmcdonnell2455 8 ай бұрын
Using birth control regularly and using it properly are two very different things. If you aren't ready for a child, don't have vaginal intercourse. It is quite literally that simple. You're literally praising women for selfishly choosing to risk pregnancy, knowing they aren't ready, so then they again selfishly abandon the child. Granted, the kid most likely is better off, but these women aren't doing it for the child, they're doing it for themselves.
@Alessastarz
@Alessastarz 8 ай бұрын
@@jamesmcdonnell2455 you are clearly talking about something very different than me. I'm talking about cases where women get pregnant despite proper use of their birth control that's 2% of women. I chose the word regularly bc of you take the pill regularly as in accurately you are still at risk. I chose the word regular to mean it's taken everyday as prescribed. You obviously have some investment in the subject that's causing you to totally mistake my point considering your opinion is based on feelings not facts. Abstinence has never been a method that we can get the majority to follow it falls on deaf ears and I never glorified anything..and as someone who's pregnancy helped me transforming into a healthy productive individual when I wasn't before my children I can accurately say if I abstained id still be a disabled blob of uselessness but sure you got it all figured out...as if having kids isn't a huge part of peoples maturity process that would jever happen before the motivation of kids. Hence people wait more than ever to have kids and so many people are lost right now...kids give a sense of motivation and purpose to do better so sometimes people needs things like pregnancy to motivate them.

When she was 21 she got pregnant again but knew she didn't have the resources, time, and mental health to raise a second child while her first was so young. So she gave the baby to a family she knew that had been trying for a child for 10+ years since they couldn't adopt the normal way. She changed that couple's life and her baby is so loved. It wasn't a mistake, don't ever let someone discourage you from doing the right thing just because they end up doing the wrong, if you have the opportunity again you should do exactly what you did the first time....... Keeps that lil seed of resentment/hate from festering and growing within you which only works to distract and harden your heart

@@diychad7268 Now this is encouragement! Sounds like you know the true heart of Jesus and what His love calls us into with each other. Love lays it's life down for another and keeps no account of a suffered wrong. Beautiful, and I couldn't be more in agreement. People can be harsh in this world, but don't let the wrong that someone has done to you force you into doing wrong in return (or even in your own heart towards them).

@@beartheconfused6798 😂What the actual fuck? His story has literally no relation to the story in the video. The guy in the video met the woman (not mother) who gave him up for adoption, for the first time when he was 18 years old. The guy who made the comment that I replied to said that his dad passed when he was 7 years old, and then his mother passed when he was 27 years old. Part of your reply was “currently something he can’t do.” Yeah well no shit…bc he already met his mother at birth, bc she wasn’t a piece of shit who put him up for adoption. Plus, even if she hadn’t passed when he was 27 years old, he couldn’t currently “meet her for the first time.” Hence the part where he met her at birth. Ya know, bc she wasn’t a piece of shit who put him up for adoption at birth. Oh and also “Now be more respectful to the storyteller from now on.”😆😆 Who dafuq are you to attempt, but fail miserably, to tell someone to be more respectful to a storyteller? Bitch idk what country you’re from, but I’m an American, and this is a free MUHFUCKIN country! Why do people always feel the need to say this when biological parents are searched for? Wanting to know where you come from & if you have similarities to people who share DNA doesn't mean he loves his adoptive parents any less. Stop guilt tripping people. Literally no one throws away their adoptive parents unless they were abusive. Grasp the concept that humans have the ability to love many different people.

@William Alexander If you were put up for adoption and a random woman called herself your Mom out of nowhere the way he did, would you immediately realize that she is your biological mother, or would you spend several seconds confused the way she did? She didn’t forget about him, she recognized him the moment she was told his name. The idea that he was her son just didn’t come to mind at first. A random kid just called her Mom out of the blue. That takes a second to process. And your first thought is not that it’s true.

Or what about when an abortion fails and the baby comes out alive and crying? Do they then feel pain? People have abortions through all 9 months of pregnancy, and people have been born premature as early as 21 weeks gestation and survive.
