I think Sockie has every right to be irritated that she’s leaving considering her fear of flying, but I do think Brooke and Justin made the right choice of having her go. In the beginning of the video they said this was Fliz’s dream, and to hear that someone didn’t go just because they didn’t like traveling would probably be very disappointing to hear. I think Sockie needs to have a sit down conversation with Brooke and Justin about how they can make flying easier for her. Not every kid is going to be the same, and what makes most kids excited might make some nervous. I think giving Sockie more time to prepare for trips can help. Learning how to cope with a fear is much better than avoiding it all together, but when you throw your child into a fearful situation without giving them ways to cope, that’s not any better. Please understand that this is just my opinion and ultimately I’m not Sockie’s parents and I can’t tell them how to raise her. Much love

Then again they've done things similar to that but yet sockie still hates flying, she can't ruin everyone elses fun and constantly diobey her parents just because she's "rich" gives her the right to ruin sarbe's and naz's dream for so long. Sockie get's lots of things that she wants, so for sabre and naz to get one things sockie needs to understand as a 16 year old that she may need to adjust to the wants of her family, not always but as she is maturing it is needed.

Every time they had asked her to go on a trip they spring on her last minute knowing her fears, she goes along with it anyway. That includes that dream trip for a Sabre to Singapore. She didn’t complain once on the multi day trip for Sabre and you can’t even say the same thing about Sabre regarding a couple hour hike she couldn’t even handle. To even suggests that Sockie “ruins” things for her siblings is factually incorrect considering she always goes along with family anyway regardless of her true feelings. Good on her for expressing how she truly felt this time around regarding a head ups in advance.

i’m so happy that you guys will be with flizzy for her 70th birthday. recently my grandma turned 70 and she lives overseas so i couldn’t be there for her. being there for milestones is so important and special. flizzy deserves so much she drives the norris nuts around in some of the videos, let’s sabre live with her, went to dog classes with sockie, and we wouldn’t have brooke without her. i really hope she can move to bondi with you guys because i can see how much love you guys have each other. hope you guys have fun in hawaii! love you guys so much!!

But in a family this size, it's inevitable that not everyone will enjoy every activity, especially as the kids get older and discover new hobbies and activities. Sockie, I’ve travelled for pretty much my whole life. And the funny thing is, I hate flying! I find it scary especially over seas, I get scared if we were to crash into the water. On land I’m fine, but the sea just makes me feel more stressed, I want you to know your not alone in this! Sockie, I just want you to know you’re not alone 💛 I am more the type of person who likes nice expensive things and doesn’t like camping, or outdoors that much, but I’m also terrified of flying, I get super sick anytime we go anywhere because my anxiety is just that bad. I try to remember that someday I’m going to look back and remember all the amazing memories I made with my family and the things we got to do, I’m not going to remember every time I was scared to fly. I know it’s still really difficult to push yourself to overcome, but you’re not alone ❤️ also I’m the only one in my family that likes nice things, and hates flying and camping, I feel very alone and misunderstood a lot because my family just doesn’t get me, but there’s something special about being the only one like you 💛❤️ we all love you and support you, your emotions are valid and so many of us understand what you’re feeling ❤️

Hawaii has some of the most amazing hikes ever! The pink pillbox has a great combination of fun hiking but STUNNING views. Flying is scary no doubt about it but when you finally land and see the surreal teal water it's so worth it:)

Sockie, i also have flight anxiety and have anxiety attacks on planes. It’s not as rare/abnormal as you think. The key is to do it more often, not avoid it. Ive taken therapy for it aswell and I’ve learnt how to manage my anxiety a bit better. Ive made a lot of progress this year, from frequent anxiety attacks and vomiting to happily eating on the plane. It’s a magical feeling when you start to notice progress. I wish you the best ❤

Sockie, just so you know I'm super scared of planes as well and I just wanted to let you know that you are super strong and brave for going on so many even though you might not want to. Like, I haven't been on a plane even one to other parts of Australia (I live in Victoria) since 2019 or 2020, I think. I'm going on a plane soon and watching your videos makes me feel like I'm not alone in my fear- and you should know you aren't either. You are the best Sockie and all the other Norris Nuts ❤

I do think sock is old enough to be told with slightly more warning about flights. A routine for airports and preparing to go on holiday would really help her. also as a service dog they should be able to take winky.
