I live 30 min from Disney. Summer is excruciatingly hot. Look into the athletic dresses from Old Navy. Solid colors and you can match ears to them. Rain poncho's are a must and look into wearable or handheld fans and cooling towels. Don't forget the sunscreen. I hope your first trip to Disney is extra Magical and filled with pixie dust.

This is so adorable!!! You and your kids will LOVE Disney. We took the kids when they were 3, 5, 7 and 9 then again this past Christmas at ages 11, 13, 15, and 17. And they all loved it at all those different ages!!! It doesn't matter how old or young you are. Everyone loves it! My advice is if they have their hearts set in a certain ride, get the fast pass for that park and/or the lightening lane. It's more money but worth it in the end! 💕 How fun!

This was so great to see how happy your kids are to be going. We went to Universal for spring break. I went with two of my girls and two of my grands. We had a blast. But i have 7 grands and 4 daughters. My oldest is the only one that has been to disney World, Disney Land, Universal and Sea world when she was a kid. I want all of us to go during Christmas. If we dont do it this Christmas we will be going next year. I hope you guys have a blast. ❤

Make sure to pick up some first time buttons (they’re free!) at one of the stores in the park! Don’t have to wear them but sometimes Cast Members (what they call the Disney employees) will see you with them and offer help/tips or just check in on you

LOVED, LOVED LOVED THIS VIDEO! My "kids" are 19 & 29 and have been to Disneyland, DisneyWorld & Universal many times and it never gets old. I love to cherish those family trips because once they marry I'll always have those wonderful memories. I love this video because the first time going is always the best. I would highly recommend universal it's awesome! We usually do 2 Disney & 2 Universal. My mommy tip to you is take snacks. Small bags of chips, peanuts, cookies, etc and water. Maybe just one of each so backpacks won't be too heavy. Of course you buy food in park but sometimes while waiting in line you get hungry. Very excited for you and your family you're gonna have so much fun!

So exciting. I live in Florida and I love going to Disney. Just a warning, the summer months can be brutally hot there so prepare yourself. Go early, go late, try not to be there during the middle of the day. Also, it is super expensive to eat there. And although it is fun to buy the stuff it adds up quick, so pack snacks. We are not only Florida residents but Vacation Club members. If you haven't booked your room yet, you should try renting a vacation club room. Some of them are one bedrooms with kitchens.

So happy for you and your family! My sons dad is a roller coaster enthusiast well it started when our son was 2 and we took him to Dollywood for the first time and by 3 he was big enough to ride his first coaster fire chaser. So we have been to many parks In The last 11 years. Disney was never on our list due to the huge expense and long wait times and honestly we aimed for the bigger rides. Some of our favorite Parks’s are Hershey park, bush gardens Florida and Virginia, Carowinds, kings island, Knobles, sea world, universal, Holiday world, Kentucky kingdom, Beech bend.

Oh wow I hadn’t heard of a lot of these besides Dollywood and Universal. We hope to maybe check out Universal next! I think my husband and daughter would enjoy thrill rides like that.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. Stay for the fireworks they are amazing. Get the Disney Genie+ it’s totally worth the money. Arrive early to the parks and pack snacks and drinks everything is so expensive. Have fun!! ❤

Your family will love it! We love Disney World! Couponing is what helps pay for us to go because it’s so expensive. My tips: I would say plan to do only do one park per day. There is so much to see and do. Do rope drop so you can get to some of the must do rides right away because by midday wait times will be so long. Take mid-day breaks especially since it will be summer and it’s hot/humid. We like to do rope drop, stay until the midday and then go back for some swimming and dinner and then head back and close the park down. Looking forward to your videos on the trip!

My husband and I surprised my daughter one year with a Disney trip. At Christmas I gave her a box full of Disney items to help her figure out where we were going. I let her miss a week of school and we went in January so we had a fantastic time! And she was super surprised

Have a grant time. One thing we did was go to the dollar tree and get rain ponchos . That way, if it rains, you'll have them. The cost a lot if you have to buy them in the park
