I feel like if we keep saying one hone stone, it’s going to become a trendy thing. I mean a I can’t even say one stone hone anymore. It’s so boring, everyone is going those. It takes days of mastery to develop skills for one hone stoning.

I also use thicker tape on the spine, like you. I used to sharpen with Kapton tape. But it is very thin. Thicker tape gives a better cutting edge for hard beards.

@@kwasek1971 Thank you my friend! I like using this type of tape, it’s never given me any problems, sometimes I hone without it and sometimes with it, all depends how I’m feeling haha thanks for stoping by my friend!

Hey Sean, how goes it brotha?! Quick question: when you say you’re looking for “undercut”, what exactly do you mean? I’m sure you’ve probably explained it in another videos but maybe I missed it..

@@rp2construction Hey RP! That’s a great question my friend. When I talk about undercut I’m looking at the relationship between the razor and the water that is on top of the stone. When I don’t have undercut the water goes below the razor and when you do have undercut the water goes above it. Usually when you don’t have an edge the water goes below it and when you do have an edge the water goes above it. Another way of explaining it is basically a squeegee that pushes water out. I hope this response answered your question, I’m always open to respond any questions for my friends!
