Great vid. Its a combination of elements project Orion which was the genesis for the Spartan program had damaged his spine but he had received treatment for it in order for him to go to battle and even then if you add the fact he also had been around plasma weapons of covenant origin like Fuel rod cannons and other plasma weapons it did effect his health in some way though the flood infection form sadly left a parting gift inside Johnson despite being damaged which will be known to chief later though we're missing a key player a certain scientist.

Wait, the reason Johnson is not exposed to the flood is bc he has some sort of disease from being exposed to too much Covenant plasma. Not because of him being a Spartan 1.
